Aggregated content – how to show it?

Our aggregators sites post content syndicated from other websites (just like Google News, Techmeme, Ycombinator, Popurls, AllTop, Topix, Yahoo News, SlashDot, Digg and many other ‘million dollars’ sites do) and by default our sites link to the original story when visitors click on a headline, which is generally considered the proper way to ‘play it safe’. (We use a plugin to make sure that the original site is opened in a new window to keep visitors on your site of course). If you prefer, you can publish the entire story onsite. In this case proper credit and backlink to the original story is given at the bottom of the post (but in this case it would be safer/nicer to ask permission to the original site). Anyway, to change the default behaviour, simply login into the site and click Syndication>Posts&Links>Permalinks point to>The local copy on this website. You do not have to make new posts to see the difference, since this change immediately affects all the old posts as well.
