Personal style blogs are very influential right now with many of them attracting millions of visitors (and conversions) to the point that fashion and style obsessed enthusiasts have problems picking up the ones to follow. We believe that an aggregator syndicating the trendiest blogs (approx. 50 sources!) has the potential to become very popular (all trends at your fingertips as per tagline…) and therefore profitable.
We’ve chosen the sources very carefully to make sure that they’re all very active and post plenty of large size pictures. The site, elegantly designed in a minimalistic way (almost no menus!), is of course in blog style. Unlike our other aggregators, posts open on site rather than at the originating site (full credit given of course) but, if you prefer, this behavior can be reverted with one click in the settings. The site monetizes via static adverts (no Amazon store or Amazon plugins) so you’re free to use the affiliate programs you better see fit to the niche. There are only 4 or 5 ads on site now but more could be added (plenty of room the in the footer and sidebar), even though as always we recommend to not exaggerate. Also, since the site is made with WordPress, adding your own content – if desired – would be very easy, just a matter of posting articles (work is not mandatory though since the site is 100% automated, you don’t even need to be a fashionista!). Alternatively, adding sources would change the site ‘inclination'(and make it more unique); for example you could add content from stylish jewelry blogs, or elegant lingerie or celebrities fashion or whatever else tickles your fancy… just ideas.
Like all our aggregators, since you can change sources, time interval for Cron, number of posts being pulled in from each source, affiliate adverts etc. etc. your site will be basically different from any other we may sell (which is very few anyway!).
We have implemented Masonry (a grid layout library) to give the site a Pinterest-style layout i.e. with the same space between the posts excerpt whatever their length. Also notice the nice pictures effect on hover, and – in single post view – all pictures but the first one come from the original site (not saved locally) to alleviate the load on hosting requirements and make syndication much faster. The masthead is not graphic (done with elegant Google fonts) so you can easily change the site title and tagline.
Graphically the site is simply beautiful with neat typography and use of spaces, brand new design never used before, social links and of course fully mobile responsive. It also uses the latest code available with full HTML5 markup (Google loves this stuff). Also built in SEO, fast loading, self updating, plus the usual goodies such as over $120 of licensed software (including Autoblogged, the paid syndication plugin), updates for life and as always our easy to follow instructions.
